Bridge Insufficient Bidding Story |

East 1D Pass 4D! |
South Pass 2H |
West 2D 3D |
North Pass 4H |
I was sitting South and couldn't let it be passed out at 2D. That's a weak bid so my partner must have something to go with my scattered 14 pts. Together we must have half the points in the deck. So I bid 2H. Things went crazy after that. 3D is normal but where did 4H come from?
East made the insufficient bid of 4D and when they were informed, they said, guess I'll have to bid 5D then. I of course doubled. They stop at 2D and now bid 5?? As it turned out, things worked out perfectly with distribution and they ended up making 7, Doubled and Vulnerable! Oh well, there's always checkers.
